We are a highly experienced team and have taken many students through a wide range of training, from trial flights to a full commercial pilot’s licence. We mainly teach in a Robinson 22 but also have access to a wide range of piston and turbine aircraft, as required.
Our location at the Top of the South Island is second to none. We are based at Motueka Airport is a thriving local aviation hub. Next door to us is Nelson Aviation College, New Zealand’s largest flight training school for fixed wing pilots. Motueka Aero Club, Abel Tasman Skydive, fuel, engineering services and a range of hangar options are also on site.
With the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks on your doorstep, we have some of the most stunningly scenic flying in New Zealand. Not only that, but we have a fantastic range of flying locations within minutes of our base, from mountain training to low flying options over beach and sea. A stable weather system and some of the longest sunshine hours in New Zealand minimise your downtime. Busy Nelson Airport is just 10 minutes flying time away, giving you important exposure to Air Traffic control operations.
Theory training takes place in our own classroom, in our hangar, or next door at Nelson Aviation College.
